hey guys and girls. as you all notice i put up a new layout, i know i only had the other one up for like a week, but i looked at it so much it started to look like vomit. haha, pleasant thought, right? well, things have not been going too well, if you guys notice some bugs going on with the site know i’m fixing them as fast as i can, i’m expanding pastelsmash.com a lot, and hopefully i’ll get most of the expansion done within a month, i’ve been doing little things with the site that you probably will never notice. i changed links around, added some scripts, etc.
friday i went to school and had the worst day ever. everyone at my school was having a bad day. here’s why: well, tuesday it had been raining really hard and the roads were pretty bad, there were three different accidents all students at my school, two of them were bad but no one was hurt, the third one wasn’t so lucky. it was a guy who i had algebra with freshman year, and he ended up breaking his pelvis and both his legs. he actually crashed down the road from where i live. thursday our principal was giving us some updates on his condition, and at the end of the day she told us that the doctors had done everything they could and it wasn’t looking too well for him. friday morning i wake up to a text message saying he died. i’m the slowest person to react to bad news, until i really sit down and think of what’s really happening. all the students stood out in front of the school in silence praying and crying.
when we were told to go 1^st period, all you could see in the hallways were people hugging and crying, it was really, really sad. i get into 1^st period and the whole school is quiet except for the teachers whispering that they’re sorry about everything that happened, and the sobs of students. finally it hits me, he died. he’s never coming back, and bam, i join everyone else and let it out. we didn’t do anything at school that day. the principal let all the seniors and juniors and some freshman go to the gym, and we all sat there still quiet and crying. i started to think about him, i never really knew him or talked to him, but as i said when i had algebra with him he was the nicest and happiest person, he was never in a bad mood, he didn’t smart off to teachers, or make fun of students, and it was just so wrong that he had to die.
some students and teachers shared thoughts and stories about him, and we had all the counselors in the county at our school to talk to us and throw out rolls of toliet paper and boxes of tissues, most girls showed up with no make up knowing they’d end up crying it off, and the whole school was just so somber.
that senior guy i’ve blogged about got his guitar and performed eric clapton’s tears in heaven, green day’s time of your life, and pink floyd’s wish you were here. he’s really talented, he made me feel better, music does that for me. another guy used his guitar to perform garth brooks’s the dance and amazing grace.
friday i didn’t feel like doing anything, so you know what i did, nothing. i didn’t even talk much, every day that passed i feel a little better until i start to think about it again.

finally a new layout, that’s not a premade! exciting, right? like you care. haha. (: so i’ve decided to go through some big changes to the site, i’m going to be doing a mini-revamp, and i’m gonna clean out some of my regular affiliates, all of the top affies are safe, for now. lmao, in addition to cleaning out affies, i’m always accepting aplications so feel free to apply, or if i’ve turned you down in the past, re-apply! school is as boring as ever, and i’m once again torn between my past and the future with that one guy i was telling you about before, no matter what something still draws me to him, and hopefully things will get resolved this year because he’s a senior and chances of seeing him after he graduates are slim. the dallas cowboys won their pre-season game friday night, they won 23 to 22. it was really close! a good game never the less, even if i was consumed with my computer making this layout. my high school had their first game of the season thursday night, and we lost. i was mad. we’re always slow in the first quarter and half of the second then we do better, so we got a second touch down towards the end of the third quarter and then we were beating them by like 6 or so points, then the other team does their kick off and bam they end up taking it all the way to the goal! so we were behind by like 2 points, and then it stays that way for the rest of the game, it sucks we lost. there was a dance after the football game, but me and my friend didn’t go, instead we drove across the road to the movies with my niece and we end up seeing step brothers, which wasn’t that good by the way, my favorite part is when seth rogen was on. i love him, i was so excited to see him i squealed and ran up to the front of the theater to watch him. (: i know i’m a geek. today i went and saw mirrors with my sister and my neice and my brother-in-law, uncle, nephews, cousin and padre, (all boys), saw death race or something. mirrors was dumb, not really good at all. it’s another movie trying to make as big of a mark as the ring in my opinion, but it’s highly unlikely anything ever will. guess what’s also coming out in october, go ahead guess. saw 5. in my opinion that’s 5 too many, for me all of the saw movies are way too predictable. anyways, i guess i’m gonna go crash my sister’s party now. g’bye!

haha, i’m finally re-writing the blog, and that’s mainly because it’s a friday night and i’m babysitting and i have to find a way to keep myself occupied while the kids stay not so quiet in the living room with grand theft auto 4. i put up this layout, it’s actually a website layout i made, but i decided i didn’t like the layout i made last week too well, so i put this one up and i think it’s adorable. i’m still trying to figure out an amazingly creative way to fix up the site for the next layout, but everything i try i end up not liking hopefully i’ll find inspiration somewhere. so school’s going well, i wish i didn’t have act prep and geometry, though. i’m ecstatic geometry is my last math class, but disappointed all we do in act prep is math. ugh, i hate math. psychology is fun, i love the teacher, he’s really funny, and it’s a laid back class, not particularly easy, you still have to work for your grade, but it’s a great environment to be in. art on the other hand, the only good thing that’s going to come out of that is some neat brushes i’ll put up when i have a chance, other than that the class is extremely boring. i’ve applied for a job at a fast food joint, not my first choice but i have to get some sort of a job before august is up. my friend has worked there for a while and i’ve not heard her say anything bad about it, hopefully i’ll get hired and things will pan out. i’m broke, now. i have to resort to borrowing money from my mom which is not my favorite thing to do. i need a new purse. i want a new purse, but i can’t find anything especially cute, and even if i did let me remind you i’m broke, lol. i’ve been hanging out with my friends this week, and i’ve had a bunch of fun. yesterday, i saw pineapple express which was the greatest movie of all time that heath ledger wasn’t in, of course, but even though i’m not a pot head i appreciate the humor behind it, and i think seth rogen and james franco are amazingly sexy, even when they are stoned out of their minds. i’m going to see mirrors and step brothers next week, well step brothers for sure, and mirrors if we can find it playing somewhere.

news: i’ve caught my first ever stealer (that i know of), hope layoutz has taken my quote banners, psd’s, and blog layouts. she clearly states nothing on her site is hers, so you may want to check and see if she’s taken anything from your site. i want to make it clear that she did not ask me if she could use anything, she did not give me credit on her site, she did however leave credits on the quote banners and blog layouts. everything she took from me clearly states at the top of the page she stole from ‘do not redistribute’! i’ve reported her to exposed, and hopefully they will help me handle this.
you have to be shitting me i’ve found another stealer. another. tropic layouts is completely different, she’s taken my edited photos, blends, and color blends. why? ugh, i’m so pissed, exposed hasn’t even finished the report for the last stealer now i have to write them another report for this girl, this one’s not so kind she actually is claiming them as hers and get this she doesn’t like jocking are you fucking kidding? you better check and see is she has anything of yours.

that’s my new catch phrase inspired by heath ledger as the joker in the dark knight, he says, “why so serious”? i say, “for serious”? haha, by the way i totally finally saw the dark knight yesterday. yay me! ugh, i’m so freakin’ happy! i encourage anyone and everyone to see it! i love heath. by the way do me and heath a favor and sign the petition to get him nominated for an oscar. he’s performance was amazing and in many ways he gave his life for that role, as playing the joker gave him insomnia, which he was taking the perscription sleeping pills for when he accidentally overdosed. those stupid doctors should not have given him so many pills. ugh. anyways, please sign it.
florida was great the only thing really bad about it was coming back, car trips are boring. lol, and i had to eat mcdonald’s and burger king. ewe. (in case you didn’t know i’m on a diet, fatty fast food is a no-no.) i also lost 5 pounds while i was down there so i guess i was doing things right. oh, and i finally got done with the big affy clean out. if you survived and still are a top affiliate, congrats! thanks to all the new peeps that applied to be an affy, i appreciate it. i start school back monday, yes this monday. joy, right? i didn’t get any criminal justice classes, we have to have assigned parking and pay 5 dollars for it. our new principal sucks, she thinks she’s god’s gift to man, she changes everything and anything she can. if she could she would even change the color of the sky. she’s utterly annoying.
so anyways i guess i’m going to try to update tons before school starts, and i’ve still got to get my hair cut and buy new clothes and shoes and accessories and other stuff for school. ahhhh, i’m so behind.
i’m in honors english and for honors english, you have to read special books for summer reading. i’ve been in english honors for 3 years now, i’ve yet to read a summer reading book, i do read but not the scuzzy ones they tell us to. this year i haven’t even gotten the copies of the books. lol, once again i’m so behind. i did however go shopping today and i bought some ugg boots, and two books not on the summer reading list. (yes, i know most of you think uggs are ugg-ly but i love them to death, so i don’t care. haha.) i also applied for a job at target which i sincerely hope i get, i’d love to work at target it’s my shopping haven. well, sometimes. the books are ‘confessions of a shopaholic‘ and ‘shopaholic and a baby‘ i picked up the ’shopaholic and a baby’ one first, which is the sequal to ’shopaholic’ so i just got them both. i read about 20 pages of the first one in the car, and i like it so far. i was trying to look for the newest book by my favorite author, emily giffin, i have yet to find it anywhere. i need that book. i’ve already read all three of her books and i’ve loved every one, so i’m sure i’ll love her newest one, if i can ever find it. haha. okay, stop reading now and sign the petition, please! bonjour. so many cool things are going down here. as i may have told some of you i was hoping to go to florida thursday the seventeenth of this month, well no such luck. don’t feel too bad for me though, i’m gonna go see the dark knight with my bestest buddy on friday, because we should all know how heath ledger is my main squeeze. on top of that i’m saving for a new phone, i’ve had a crappy old env for 2 years now and i’m dying to get a new phone, it’s sad both my sisters have cool blackberries, and i get stuck with the env. ahaha. ohh, as you all may have noticed i put up a new layout, i actually made it as a web layout, but i fell in love with it so i decided to use it until i make a new one actually meant for the site, and i finally did away with the two iframes that i had for the updates box and the navigation, now i’m fully php! (:
i watched some more delicious dane cook today, haha. all the family was at my sister’s house for her birthday, and my nephew got us all into watching some comedy central he had recorded. i always feel so wierd when i watch comedy central with my mom and dad, because all the comedians get into sexual jokes and i’m sitting there silently and awkwardly laughing beside my parents. it’s just kind of wierd, anyone who’s been in sex-related situations like that knows what i’m talking about. anywho, my nephews all about dave attell that’s his favorite comic. which if you knew my nephew you’d think was really wierd, my nephew is all shy and secluded in his own mind, so for him to be enjoying dave attell’s stand-up is a little mismatched.
so for some site news, i’m in a layout race with one of my affies, allison, whoever has the most layouts on august 12 wins. i think she’s going to win, haha. i’m still trying to get around the new navigation on myspace, and i’m getting really close but i still have a few kinks to work out. in the mean time i’ll keep working on website layouts, my favorite to make, and default layouts. oh, and in case you were wondering, i’m still working on those remixed videos i was talking about on the last blog. i’m pretty sure i’m going to add a request form for handwritten fonts, you send in your handwriting and i’ll make it into a font. more updates, soon! oh, and since i almost got to 200 comments on the last blog, that’s my new comment goal! so chat me up!
