my name is melinda. i love a lot of things, including love itself. unfortunately, i tend to fall in love way too easily. i can't help it. i'm a nice kid. creative in every aspect. i try and make the best of things when the moment comes around. i'm spontaneous. i don't like planning things in advanced because i know things will never turn out the way they are supposed to.
 
i adore music, movies, and all forms of entertainment. whether it's listening to bob dylan, watching where the heart is, or listening to a cute boy tell a joke, i'm there. anytime, everytime. i tend to feel overwhelmed a lot. mostly about my love life, or lack there of. there has been one major boy in my life who inspires me at any given time, my mind is racing full of thoughts, memories, speculation, hope, and everything else you could possibly imagine. i can't focus on anything else. i grab a pen and some paper, or my computer and write or type away. so far have about 20 potential good novels, and i'm only 19. if i had the patience to write them all through and through, i'd be a bagillionaire, everyone would know my name like stephenie meyer.
 
i'm very picky, very cautious, and most of the time scared of the unknown. i try to turn everything i do into perfection. i try to keep the progress turning instead of letting things fly into slack mode. i love technology, i've got a motorola droid & an hp 17" laptop. i go big. i hate small things. my purses are always overnight sized or travel sized. my phones are always bulky, along with my zune and my 19" monitor.
 
i hate to follow trends, but i love to set them. i really hate hype. so if something is being talked about incessently, i try to stay far away. ask anyone i know and they will tell you i pick the opposite side of any argument.
 
i love my family and my friends, i have a big close knit family, which means two things: there is always someone to hang out with and there is always someone in someone else's business. i have two best friends. christina who is like my twin sister 90% of the time and lee who is like my son i take care of 50% of the time.
 
i love vintage. i'm old hollywood at heart. i was born with jazz and standards in my heart. frank sinatra is cosmically my godfather, and bob dylan is cosmically my best friend. marilyn is cosmically my sister, and judy is cosmically my grandmother. leonardo is cosmically my boyfriend. heath ledger is cosmically my brother, my best friend, my role model, my everything, my something i could never life without, my inspiration.
